I had the opportunity to work with director Chris Moukarbel (Gaga: Five Foot Two, Banksy Does New York) on his upcoming feature film Cypher starring Tierra Whack. It was a real pleasure to collaborate so closely and bounce creative ideas back and forth with Chris. We began discussing aesthetics and psychological undertones that he wanted to convey in the graphics. From our discussions, I began collecting references, sorting ideas, dissecting pieces and sharing them with Chris. These are a few samples of our process below.
