I learned that Desus and Mero were coming to Vice to shoot a new show at Viceland with executive producer Erik Rydholm (ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption, Around the Horn, Highly Questionable). They brought me on to Desus & Mero, where I worked for the full run of the series.
They brought me on to Desus & Mero, which taped and aired four nights per week. I was the show’s only dedicated designer, animator, VFX artist. The turnaround was tight with roughly 4 hours in post production before it went out each night. It was a daily challenge to try as efficiently as possible and create the best graphics in a short time.
